VINNAPAS 5043 N 25/1 (HIGH ADHESION AND FLEXIBILITY)
VINNAPAS 5043 N 25/1 is a water-redispersible vinyl acetate and ethylene-based copolymer powder specifically developed for dry-mix mortars. Ideal for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS / Cladding) applications, this product imparts superior flexibility and deformation capability to mortars thanks to its high ethylene content. Belonging to the VINNAPAS N class, this product has a neutral effect on rheology and optimizes fundamental adhesion and flexibility properties.
Key Technical Features
- High Flexibility: Due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg), the resin remains soft and flexible even at temperatures below the freezing point of water.
- Superior Adhesion Performance: Provides excellent adhesion to organic surfaces (especially polystyrene EPS/XPS boards).
- Enhanced Durability: Increases flexural strength, deformation capability, and abrasion resistance in modified mortars.
- Workability: Offers ease of processing without affecting spreading, thixotropy, and water retention properties.
- Low Emission: Contains no organic solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming agents.

Application Areas
VINNAPAS 5043 N 25/1 is specifically designed for applications where flexibility and adhesion to organic surfaces are critical:
- ETICS (Cladding) Systems: Adhesion mortars and base coat (render) mortars for thermal insulation boards.
- Repair Mortars: Patching and repair compounds requiring high deformation capability.
Processing and Storage Instructions
The product is prepared by mixing with other dry components in appropriate equipment. Excessive temperature increase during mixing should be avoided, as it can lead to clumping due to thermoplastic properties. The prepared mortar can be mixed with mechanical mixers or by hand; for hand mixing, it is recommended to let the mortar rest for 5 minutes and then mix again. During storage, the product should be protected from moisture, pressure, and temperatures above 30°C. Under suitable conditions, the shelf life is 6 months from the production date.
Answer: No, this product has a neutral effect on rheological properties; it does not fundamentally change properties such as water retention, spreading, and thixotropy.
Answer: The minimum film formation temperature (MFFT) of the product is 0°C, which allows for film formation even at low temperatures.
Answer: It is ideal for use in cladding systems (ETICS) as it provides very good adhesion, especially to organic surfaces such as polystyrene.
