VINNAPAS 4115 N 25/1 (HIGH ADHESION AND MEDIUM FLEXIBILITY)
VINNAPAS 4115 N 25/1 is a water-dispersible, high-performance polymer powder produced based on a hard copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene. It is specifically formulated for dry-mix mortars such as cement-based tile adhesives, wall and joint fillers. Belonging to the VINNAPAS N product class, this material has a neutral effect on rheology and provides excellent adhesive strength in tile adhesives even at low dosages.
Key Features and Benefits
This product is manufactured without the addition of organic solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming agents. It contains fine mineral filler and acts as an anti-blocking agent. When used in mortar modification, it offers the following advantages:
- Enhanced Adhesion and Flexibility: Increases the mortar's adhesive strength, flexural strength, and deformability (flexibility).
- Abrasion Resistance: Increases the abrasion resistance of the applied surface.
- Easy Workability: Facilitates the processing of the mortar, without affecting spreading (leveling), thixotropy, and water retention properties.
- High Compatibility: Ideal for use in combination with other mortar additives.
Application Areas
VINNAPAS 4115 N 25/1 is highly suitable for formulations requiring high final strength and low emissions. Its main application areas include:
- One-Component Cement-Based Tile Adhesives
- Skim Coats
- Thermal Insulation Mortars (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems - ETICS)
- Wall and Joint Fillers

Processing and Storage Instructions
Processing: In the production of ready-mix dry mortar, the polymer powder should be mixed with other dry components in suitable equipment. Excessive temperature increase during mixing should be avoided, otherwise agglomeration may occur due to its thermoplastic properties. If mixing manually, it is recommended to let the mortar rest (slake) for 5 minutes and then mix again.
Storage: The product must be protected from moisture and stored in a cool, dry warehouse. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 30°C, especially under pressure and humidity, can lead to blocking (agglomeration). The product should be consumed within a maximum of 6 months from the date of receipt.
Frequently Asked Questions
For which types of applications is VINNAPAS 4115 N 25/1 most suitable?
It is optimized especially for cement-based tile adhesives, joint fillers, and thermal insulation mortars.
What are the shelf life and storage conditions of the product?
When stored in a cool and dry environment below 30°C, the shelf life is 6 months. It must be protected from moisture and pressure.
What is the rheological effect of this polymer powder on mortar?
VINNAPAS 4115 N 25/1 has a neutral effect on rheology; meaning it does not directly change the fluidity or consistency of the mortar, but it improves workability.
