VINNAPAS 4023 N is a vinyl acetate and ethylene-based, water-redispersible, multi-purpose copolymer powder specifically developed for dry-mix mortars. It is an ideal solution, especially for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS/Mantolama), renders, and skim coats. This polymer, belonging to the VINNAPAS® N product class, creates a neutral effect on the rheology of the mortar while imparting fundamental adhesion and flexibility properties to the formulation, offering broad application freedom.

Key Features and Advantages

  • Superior Adhesion and Flexibility: Significantly increases the adhesive strength, flexural strength, and deformation capacity (flexibility) in modified mortars.
  • Easy Workability: Ensures easier processing of the mortar during application and enhances abrasion resistance.
  • Neutral Rheological Effect: Does not affect spreading, thixotropy, and water retention properties; thus, it perfectly harmonizes with other additives used to enhance specific properties.
  • Safe and Clean Content: Contains no organic solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming agents. Contains fine mineral filler as an anti-caking agent.
  • Low Emission: Highly suitable for formulations requiring high final strength and low emissions.

Application Areas

  • Adhesives and Renders for External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS / Mantolama)
  • Cement and Lime-Based Renders
  • Skim Coats and Wall Putties
  • Adhesive and Filling Mortars

Processing and Storage Instructions

Processing: VINNAPAS 4023 N should be mixed with other dry components using appropriate equipment in the production of ready-mix dry mortars. Excessive temperature increase during mixing should be avoided, as it can lead to agglomeration due to the thermoplastic nature of the polymer. The prepared mortar is mixed mechanically or manually by adding the recommended amount of water. If mixing manually, it is recommended to let the fresh mortar rest (slake) for 5 minutes and then mix it again.

Storage: The product should be protected from moisture and stored in a cool place. At temperatures above 30°C, there is a risk of blocking (agglomeration) if exposed to pressure, humidity, or sunlight. It is recommended to consume the product within 6 months from the date of receipt.
