PAN-KEY X85 is a high-performance Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) polymer specifically formulated to meet the demanding requirements of the construction industry. Demonstrating superior performance in cement-based applications, this product enhances the workability of mortar mixtures while optimizing water retention and adhesion properties, which directly affect the quality of the final product.

Presented in white or off-white powder form, PAN-KEY X85, with its high viscosity value between 70,000 and 80,000 mPa.s, prevents sagging on vertical surfaces and maintains the homogeneity of the mixture. Lacking delayed solubility, this product provides a rapid and effective thickening upon contact with water.

Application Areas

PAN-KEY X85 is ideal for use in formulations of cement-based building chemicals. It acts as a binder and rheology agent in applications requiring high water retention and consistency, such as tile adhesives, renders, repair mortars, and external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).

Packaging and Storage

The product is supplied in multi-ply paper bags with a polyethylene interlayer, with a net weight of 25 kg. When stored in its original packaging in a cool and dry environment, the shelf life is 2 years.
