VINNAPAS 5005 N 25/1 (GENERAL USE)
VINNAPAS® 5005 N is a water-redispersible polymer powder based on a very hard copolymer of vinyl acetate and ethylene (VA/E), specially formulated for dry-mix mortars. It is an ideal solution particularly for cementitious tile adhesives, masonry mortars, and tile grouts requiring cost efficiency. The product belongs to the VINNAPAS® N product class, indicating a neutral effect on rheology, and demonstrates high performance even at low dosages.
Key Features and Benefits
- High Adhesive Strength: Provides excellent adhesive strength in tile adhesives even at low polymer dosages.
- Improved Mechanical Properties: Enhances the flexibility, deformability, and abrasion resistance of mortars.
- Neutral Rheology: Does not affect spreading, thixotropy, and water retention properties; thus ensuring excellent compatibility with other mortar additives.
- Safe and Clean Content: Contains no organic solvents, plasticizers, or film-forming agents. Includes fine mineral filler to prevent caking.
Application Areas
VINNAPAS® 5005 N is designed to offer optimum performance in the following building chemical applications:
- Cementitious tile adhesives
- Mineral renders and plasters
- Tile grouts
- Masonry and joint mortars

Processing and Storage
For dry mortar production, VINNAPAS® 5005 N should be mixed with other dry components in suitable equipment. Due to its thermoplastic nature, excessive temperature increase during mixing should be avoided. If mixing manually, it is recommended to let the mortar slake for 5 minutes and then re-mix.
The product should be protected from moisture and stored in a dry environment at temperatures below 30°C. Exposure to pressure, humidity, or sunlight may cause caking. The shelf life is approximately 6 months from the production date under suitable conditions.
