TYLOSE HS 30000 YP2 25/1 is a high-performance hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) derivative specifically formulated for self-leveling floor compounds (leveling screeds) in the construction industry. Presented in powder form, this product has undergone a standard etherification process and, thanks to its delayed solubility feature, prevents lump formation during production processes and ensures a homogeneous mixture.

Application Areas and Performance Characteristics

This product offers superior heat stability (very high) in cement-based systems, while its effect on cement hydration is high. It maximizes the fluidity of the formulation with 'very low' water demand and 'very low' final consistency characteristics, which are critical in self-leveling floor applications. Its water retention capacity is low, and consistency development is moderate. These properties ensure that floor compounds achieve the desired spreading performance.

Storage and Safety Instructions

Like all finely particulate organic substances, it may pose a dust explosion risk. Dust formation and accumulation should be kept to a minimum; it should be kept away from open flames, hot surfaces, and static electricity. The product begins to decompose at approximately 200°C, and its ignition temperature is above 360°C. It has a long shelf life when stored in its original packaging, in a dry environment, and at room temperature. As it can absorb moisture from the air, opened packages should be tightly sealed to prevent air ingress.
