KEMILINE TA 332 is a high-performance acrylic thickener specially formulated for the textile, paint, construction, flock, and coating industries. This product, which is in the form of a low-viscosity white liquid, swells to provide a high-viscosity homogeneous suspension when diluted with water in the printing or coating paste and its pH value is adjusted to the alkaline range (9-10) with the aid of ammonia.

It maximizes process efficiency with its non-foaming property during application. It is highly resistant to mixer speed and mechanical shear forces during the addition phase. It can be easily homogenized in any proportion in mixtures prepared with all kinds of binders, wetting agents, or auxiliary chemicals.

Applications and Advantages

KEMILINE TA 332 offers excellent color yield and spreading properties, especially in printing pastes prepared for woven and knitted cotton fabrics in the textile industry. Due to its highly stable structure in time-dependent rheology evaluation, it facilitates the acquisition of pastes with constant viscosity. Compared to powder or synthetic equivalents, it does not cause gel or precipitate formation problems and is applied extremely quickly and easily. The maximum usage rate as a thickener is recommended as 70 g/kg (7%).

Storage and Safety Conditions

The shelf life of the product is 12 months from the date of manufacture, provided it is stored at temperatures between 5-35°C. It must be protected from frost, especially during winter months, and must not be exposed to direct sunlight. The lids of products packaged in IBCs and drums must be kept tightly closed to protect against microbiological attacks and to prevent film formation. To prevent agglomeration that may occur due to the film-forming characteristic of the product, it is recommended to stir it and pass it through a coarse sieve prior to use.
